Our Story
Alex Roofing was built by Alejandro García on a simple idea: a roof is the single most expensive thing protecting a home, and the person selling you one should be the person who actually climbs it. Alejandro runs the crews himself. When you call Alex Roofing, you're not routed to a commissioned salesperson who never sees your property.
We work out of Santa Maria and cover both Santa Barbara County and San Luis Obispo County — Santa Barbara, Paso Robles, Atascadero, San Luis Obispo, Templeton, Morro Bay, Los Ranchos, and everywhere between. That range matters, because a roof in Morro Bay and a roof in Paso Robles fail for completely different reasons. Salt air and marine moisture eat coastal roofs from the fasteners out. Inland heat bakes shingles brittle in half the time. We spec each roof for where it actually sits.
We install every major system — architectural shingle, cement and clay tile, standing seam metal, and TPO and PVC single-ply for flat and low-slope roofs — plus seamless gutters and leak repair. We're licensed, carry full liability insurance, and cover our crew with Workers' Compensation. Inspections are free, estimates are written and itemized, and if your roof doesn't need replacing, we'll tell you so.
